Volunteer: The Pencil Box

Join us as we give back to our community! We are excited to head to a new volunteer location, The Pencil Box, to support their much‑needed mailing efforts. The Pencil Box is a local nonprofit dedicated to providing classroom supplies at no cost to underserved students and their teachers. In Tulsa County Public Schools, 66% of students are economically disadvantaged, and local teachers report spending an average of $500 of their own money each year on classroom supplies. The Pencil Box helps ease this burden by ensuring teachers have the resources they need, so they can focus on what matters most—educating their students. We will start with a short tour of the teacher resource area before we get to work on their mailings.
